American
Guinea Hog Piglets
We
have to say that these are the
most wonderful mothers. All the
sows have allowed us in the pen
and did not mind us handling the
babies even when they squealed.
(By the way, all 3 are in the
same pen and all 3 have cared
for the babies).
The
babies are active from the get
go. Their mothers are very careful
when laying down, so far we have
not had any babies smashed by
the adults. The babies even wander
into the boars pen without any
problems.
